This whorl has very obvious flecking, which resemble the spots on a leopard...hence how it got its name of leopardwood. A very unique wood that isn't seen a lot in the spindle world. It is challenging to work with, but the effort is worth it! The whorl shape is a variation on the usual stiletto design. It has been elongated to make it more dramatic.
