This wood is characterized by striped patterning that is reminiscent of the stripes on zebras. It is a strong, dense and durable hardwood from West Africa. The addition of dye prior to stabilizing created a really amazing look to this whorl. It is the prettiest Aegean waters blue with tan and mahogany patterning through it. Stunning!
