Both the shape and material in this spindle are different from what I've offered before. I found a unique colored and layered spectraply blank for the whorl and in trying to accentuate the lines this shape was the result. I'm calling it "Phases" because there is a new moon on one side of the whorl and a crescent moon on the other.
