Stabilized Blue Mahoe whorl showing off waves of blue denim, set on a Dymalux shaft in the color Charcoal. This is one of the only commercially known woods that has a natural blue/grey/purple color. It is a highly prized hardwood native to Cuba and Jamaica. This exciting spindle combines a new technique of inlaying denim into the whorl blank with a brand new shape to show off the design. The denim is recycled jeans...hence the name selection of "Fancy Pants".
