Blue Mahoe is a tropical hardwood native to the Caribbean and is the national tree of Jamaica. Natural Blue (grey) coloration in wood is uncommon, especially outside of wood that has spalting. It does darken once it is stabilized and finished, but this is a unique and beautiful wood that expresses nice chatoyance.
